Ίδρυση
Το Ίδρυμα « ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ ΘΕΟΔΩΡΑΚΗΣ » δημιουργήθηκε στην Αθήνα και συστάθηκε το 2008 από την Κα. Μαρία χήρα Ιωάννη Θεοδωράκη, εις μνήμην του μοναδικού παιδιού της Γεωργίου Θεοδωράκη, κατόπιν εκδόσεως σχετικού προεδρικού Διατάγματος ( Φ.Ε.Κ. 564/1-4-2008 ). Την ακίνητη περιουσία του Ιδρύματος αποτελούν μία οικοδομή αποτελούμενη από Ισόγειο και 1 όροφο επί των οδών Ελ. Βενιζέλου 94 και Ν.Πλαστήρα 8, την οποία δώρισε η Ιδρύτρια βάση της σύστασής του. Οι πόροι του Ιδρύματος είναι τα εισοδήματα από την εκμετάλλευση της ως άνω περιουσίας του. Το Ίδρυμα αποτελεί Νομικό Πρόσωπο Ιδιωτικού Δικαίου που υπάγεται στην Εποπτεία της Αποκεντρωμένης Διοίκησης Αττικής - Διεύθυνση Κοινωφελών Περιουσιών, που διέπεται από τις διατάξεις της ανωτέρω συστατικής του πράξης.
